Madrid winner Murray 7-1 to win French Open

Published:

Andy Murray has been slashed into 7-1 (from 14-1) to win the French Open following his first Masters success on clay in Madrid yesterday. The British number one is third best in the outright betting for the tournament in Paris behind odds-on favourite Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, who are 10-11 and 5-2, respectively.

“Before this season, Andy Murray had never won a clay court tournament with the ATP but after back-to-back successes on the surface, the outright betting for the French Open suggests he is a leading contender to win the tournament,” said Coral’s John Hill.
