Kendall cut by bookies to be the next Labour leader

Liz Kendall has been cut into 7-4 (from 2-1) by leading bookmaker Coral to be the next Labour leader as the firm has seen a large number of bets for the Leicester West MP recently. Andy Burnham remains the odds-on favourite to be elected for the role, however, his odds have drifted slightly out to 5-6 (from 4-5) following the move for Kendall.
“Liz Kendall has been the most popular selection in our betting for the next Labour Leader over the past couple of days. If the gamble continues, it won’t be long before she becomes the new favourite for the role,” said Coral’s John Hill.
