Art Of Logistics has a good record at Punchestown and looks weighted to go well at a decent price in the Guinness Handicap Chase there today (18:40).

Trained by Sandra Hughes, the gelding has won three of his six starts at the venue and has some strong form to his name.

The seven-year-old overcame trouble in-running to beat Mallowney, from whom he was receiving 6lb, by two lengths in a 2m handicap chase at the track 13 months ago.

The runner-up is a very smart sort who has scored twice since and is now rated 162, and that makes that makes Art Of Logistic’s current mark of 141 look exploitable.

Art Of Logistics went on to follow up over 2m 2f at the track when beating Lose My Load by a length off an official rating of 144, and comes into the contest after a promising reappearance run when sixth of 30 to Rajdhani Express in the Topham Chase at Aintree.

That was Art Of Logistics’ first run for 203 days and should have put him spot on for this.

Rathlin finished in front of Art Of Logistics in the Topham and looks sure to run his usual game race.

The Mouse Morris trained 10-year-old has been a tremendous servant to connections, winning eight times, and is a genuine sort who rarely runs a bad race.

Rathlin is also able to race off the same mark as when third to Felix Yonger in a Grade 2 contest at Navan ojn his penultimate start, and that form looks strong with the winner having landed the Grade 1 Champion Chase at the track yesterday.

Another interesting contender is the Tom Taaffe trained Gold Bullet.

The gelding had some smart form in bumpers, including when runner-up to Road To Riches, and developed into a decent hurdler when winning twice.

Gold Bullet has gone on to score twice from five starts over fences, and the unexposed seven-year-old could be well-treated off a mark of 140 judged on his 2 1/2 length defeat of Baily Green at Clonmel at the beginning of the month.
