Jurgen Klopp will lead his Borussia Dortmund side out against bitter Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich for the final time before his imminent departure from the club, when these two teams meet at the Allianz Arena for their DFB-Pokal semi-final clash.

Pep Guardiola’s Bavarians recently wrapped up the German league title with four games to spare and will now be aiming to move closer towards their second piece of silverware success this season with a victory over the Black and Yellows.

Munich, who secured a record 25th Bundesliga title in their last league triumph, are odds-on 2/5 with Coral to spoil Klopp’s party, while Dortmund are a 6/1 chance to win on their travels in 90 minutes.

The hosts’ CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently stated that his club will see Klopp off with a bouquet of flowers, but the determined Dortmund boss has other plans for his last trip to the Allianz Arena as BVB manager.

“That’s a very nice gesture, but we want to run riot on Tuesday,” said Klopp.

Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich

Klopp’s final season at the Westfalenstadion could have ended in domestic disaster, with Dortmund having amazingly slipped into the relegation zone for a brief stint, but a recent 2-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt has seen them edge closer to a European position.

“[Saturday] was an important day for us because we have finally left the relegation battle behind us,” continued Klopp. “If the number of points between us and the teams above us in the European places is less than the number of games remaining, we’re in with a chance.”

Although, the visitors will be without goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller through a hip injury, while the hosts could welcome back Arjen Robben and Medhi Benatia from troublesome knocks.

Former Dortmund danger Robert Lewandowski, now a menacing Munich marksman, is a 10/3 chance to open proceedings, after striking in his last two meetings with his previous employers.

Klopp’s in-form frontman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the key threat for the travelling outfit, having reached a 20-goal tally for the season last time out, and he is 12/5 to strike again anytime in 90 minutes.

In what will be a repeat of last year’s final, which Bayern emerged from with a 2-0 victory in extra-time, the home side will aim for their 18th Pokal success, while Dortmund will close in on their fourth triumph, having won most recently in 2012.
