Crystal Palace v West Brom – Home win
As Albion have lost five of their last six in all competitions, and the Eagles are flying high with four wins on the spin, this should be a home banker for Alan Pardew and punters, despite the subplot of Tony Pulis’ return to Selhurst Park.

Everton v Burnley – Home win
Sean Dyche knows his side have poor away form and, against an Everton outfit on the up at Goodison Park, it’s tough to make a case for the Clarets. Another home win.

Leicester v Swansea – Draw
The Foxes’ upturn in form has given them increased chances of staying up. Here they hosts a Swans side with little to play for, so a share of the spoils seems a good shout.

Stoke v Southampton – Away win
Ronald Koeman’s Saints have already won at the Britannia this term in the Capital One Cup, and beat the Potters at home. A hat-trick of victories beckons after Graziano Pelle rediscovered his scoring touch.

Blackburn v Nottingham Forest – Draw
These two are next to each other in the Championship table, and neither can make the play-offs. Honours being even in this dead rubber looks most likely, though a score draw rather than stalemate.

Huddersfield v Derby – Away win
The Terriers are unbeaten in four fixtures in the Championship gaining eight points in the process and more than guaranteeing their safety. Interestingly, Derby have the same record, though have scored more; which includes a 4-0 romp over Blackpool last time out. Based on momentum, an away win is probable.

Wigan v Brighton – Draw
Gary Caldwell’s side are in a dismal run of form, and they are firmly embedded in the bottom three having not won in nine games. Brighton’s run isn’t quite as bad, though that’s nothing to write home about, having not won in four. A draw might be the likeliest outcome.

Aberdeen v Dundee Utd – Home win
Second-placed Scottish Premiership side, Aberdeen are unbeaten in five matches with three wins, and go into this match in high spirits. Their fourth place visitors won last time out in the league, for the first time in 10 outings, though beat the Dons 2-1 in the Scottish league cup semi-final at the end of January.

Chelsea v Man Utd – Away win
What a blockbuster this promises to be! Should the Blues win, barring a major hiccough, they will almost certainly secure the title. However, the Red Devils are in a resurgent mood and with Arsenal competing with them for second at least, they won’t surrender easily.

Diego Costa is missing for Jose Mourinho’s men and this could be crucial. If Wayne Rooney is in the mood, he can inspire a victory and he may just be the difference for a United win.

Man City v West Ham – Away win
Manuel Pellegrini’s side simply cannot buy a win at the minute, which is ironic in many ways. Three points from four Premier League matches has seen them drop to fourth, and a West Ham side that beat them at Upton Park could well cause them problems at the Eithad. The Hammers to sneak an away win.

Newcastle v Tottenham – Away win
The Magpies have dropped well off the pace in their run-in, with nothing really to play for under a coach who is likely to leave once the season finishes. Spurs thumped the Tyneside outfit 4-0 on two occasions last year and should secure another three points this time out.

Inter Milan v AC Milan – Draw
Both San Siro clubs have endured a torrid fall from grace this term, but form will go out the window in this fierce Milan derby encounter. The reverse clash ended in a 1-1 draw and a similar result could be expected again.

Elche v Real Sociedad –Away win
David Moyes’ men earned a 3-0 victory last November over their opponents with the club having not been beaten by Elche since June 2010. Expect the Scot to lead Sociedad to another comfortable win on their travels, having outlined a European place as their main aim.

Fiorentina v Verona – Home win
The hosts have won their previous four meetings with Verona, including a 2-1 triumph before the turn of the New Year. Fiorentina are fighting for fourth spot in the Serie A and should see off their 16th-placed opposition on home soil.
