*Started his racing career with Francois Cottin in France before being sold to the Hennessys in November, 2009.

*Only won once for his new trainer over hurdles but has blossomed since being sent over fences, winning seven times over the larger obstacles.

*Biggest career win to date came when winning the Grade One John Durkan Memorial Chase at Punchestown by five lengths from Joncol in 2011. Also landed the Grade 2 Red Mills Chase over two and a half miles in February, 2012.

*Has won twice this season at Thurles and Wexford – his first victories since 2012.

David has also written for most of the top Premier League football fan websites, and produced a Cheltenham Festival guide with former eight-times champion national hunt jockey Peter Scudamore, MBE, after helping him to set up a syndicate for his trainer son Michael.
