SPORTSBOOK ODDS

In what is known as a ‘six pointer’, Hull host Sunderland in the Premier League, with Coral making the Tigers 23/20 for victory. Both clubs are hovering just above the relegation zone, with the former just one point ahead.

The reverse fixture on Boxing Day finished 3-1 to the Tigers, with the same scoreline on offer at 22/1 this time around. Sunderland have lost their last four fixtures against the Humberside outfit, with an FA Cup defeat, last term sandwiched in between, as Steve Bruce’s side beat them 3-0 on their way to the final.

Bruce’s boys have lost just once in their last four games and managed to have quite a good February, holding Manchester City to a draw, while they also beat Aston Villa and QPR.

Last time out, they were perhaps unlucky to lose 1-0 to Stoke City at the Britannia, with Bruce convinced that Peter Crouch was offside for his goal. However, Hull didn’t register a single shot on target, and the manager will be hoping for a marked improvement in attack.

Their last goal came against the R’s with new signing Dame N’Doye grabbing a late winner. The 30-year-old is 5/1 to break the deadlock, with Nikica Jelavic, who opened the scoring in that game, also 5/1 in the same market.

Gus Poyet’s side lost 2-0 at Old Trafford last time out, suffering at the hands of Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney. The Black Cats haven’t scored in their last four matches, which included a 2-0 defeat in the FA Cup at the hands of Bradford City.

The last time they registered a goal was when they picked up a point at Liberty Stadium against Swansea, when Jermain Defoe opened the scoring, having netted in the side’s previous Premier League match; a 2-0 victory over Burnley. He is 11/2 to strike first at the KC.

Back Hull and their in-form strike-force of N’Doye and Jelavic here to take the Tigers further away from danger.
