England are 6/5 outsiders to beat Ireland at the Aviva Stadium, as two teams with a 100 per cent record in the Six Nations so far this campaign clash in a match which could ultimately decide the destination of the trophy.

Captain Chris Robshaw maintains that the team are determined to ensure that they don’t have a repeat of last year when they lost the tournament on points to Joe Schmidt’s side on points.

It came down to the final day, and having beaten Italy 52-11 they had to hope the points margin of Ireland’s match went in their favour. However, they ran out 22-20 winners over France.

“It was tough to take,” Robshaw said. “When you’re sat there hundreds of miles apart you’re pretty helpless.

“The worst bit about last year was probably seeing something like that happen and being photographed at the time and then the next day seeing the two extremes in the way the camps reacted across every paper.”

The 28-year-old, who is 11/1 to score anytime has said the team have since learned from any errors they made last year.

“We all had a beer together after and said ‘we’ve got to continue learning from this’,” he added. “We are getting better but it’s one thing getting better, you’ve got to be picking up that silverware.

“Silverware matters to everyone. As a player you want to be judged on what you’ve won. It’s all well and good picking up caps and playing x amount of times for your country, which is incredible, but you want to win stuff.

“I don’t think guys need much motivation for this game. It’s going to be built up, it’s going to be exciting. Two great teams going at it.”

Visitors England will be hoping that Jonathan Joseph can continue his fine form this campaign, having scored three tries in two matches this campaign. He is 14/1 to score the first try.

Danny Cipriani came on in the 47-17 win over Italy to feature for the first time in a number of years, marking his return with a try.

Ireland’s 18-11 win over France featured six penalties, five of which came from the boot of Jonny Sexton. Even their opening 26-3 win over Italy only included two tries, one apiece from Conor Murray and Tommy O’Donell. The former is 11/2 respectively to score anytime.
