Un de Sceaux has been the best backed horse this morning with Coral on day one of the 2015 Cheltenham Festival. Willie Mullins’ mount is the odds-on favourite to win the Arkle Trophy Chase at 2.40 and punters have been piling into the novice chaser in the second race on the card.

In the feature race of the day, the Champion Hurdle, there has been some opposition to the favourite Faugheen as The New One has been popular to go two places better than his third place finish 12 months ago.

The biggest mover of the morning so far has come in the National Hunt Chase at 4.40 as Perfect Gentleman has been backed in from 16-1 into 10-1 for Mullins, who has a strong team representing the Irish Champion Trainer this afternoon.

Coral’s PR Manager, John Hill said: “The best backed horse this morning, by some distance, has been Un de Sceaux as punters have taken advantage of our early heroes offer in the Arkle. Surprisngly, it is The New One who has been the post popular in the Champion Hurdle, while there has been a gamble on Willie Mullins’ Perfect Gentleman later in the card,” said Coral’s John Hill.
