Away from Champions League knockout phase action, Coral can also offer punters some magnificent midweek value on League One top six trio Bristol City, MK Dons and Sheffield United all to win at 11/2.

Steve Cotterill’s Robins play host to out-of-form Peterborough United, while the Dons duel with Colchester United away and the Blades battle Notts County at Meadow Lane. Each of the three featured teams in this tasty treble are odds-on favourites for victory, so your best bet is to take this boosted price.

Here are some individual reasons why Cotterill, Karl Robinson and Nigel Clough can be confident of recording wins this midweek.

Bristol City v Peterborough
The Robins have won three of the last four head-to-heads with Posh, including a 3-0 victory earlier in the season. Bristol City, who lead League One by four points, are thus worthy odds-on favourites at 3/4 to beat them again.

Matt Smith has scored in four of his last five outings for the Robins, so back him at 7/5 to net again anytime. Luke Freeman, meanwhile, has relished playing off the front, as evidenced by his brace in the reverse fixture back in November, and is a tasty 10/3 to be on target against Peterborough again.

Colchester v MK Dons
In three of the last four seasons, Robinson has seen his Dons side record massive wins against relegation-threatened Colchester. The Milton Keynes club have twice beaten the Essex outfit 5-1, and hit them for six in the reverse fixture. MK Dons are thus odds-on 10/11 favourites for three points.

Highly-rated midfielder Dele Alli, now owned by Spurs, netted in that 6-0 romp in November, and is a 9/5 anytime scorer chance again here.

Notts County v Sheffield United
The Blades have historically had the better of this fixture, with 41 league wins to Notts’ 22. As Shaun Derry’s side have seen their early season promotion challenge fall away spectacularly, and Sheffield United remain in the mix for a play-off place, Clough’s club are worthy odds-on favourites for victory at 4/5.

New Blades signing Matt Done has three in his last two outings, so is 8/5 to add to that tally anytime against the Nottingham team.
