Serie A leaders Juventus, 11/8 with Coral to triumph, know a win against Napoli at recent bogey-ground the Stadio San Paolo is vital following their 1-1 Derby d’Italia draw against Inter Milan last time out.

After stuttering at the San Siro, title rivals Roma are just one point behind the Old Lady, who are looking far from invincible, and another setback could allow the Giallorossi to leapfrog into pole position.

Massimiliano Allegri’s men have won just one of their last six outings across all competitions, and can point to the recent Supercoppa final defeat against Napoli as their lowest point this campaign.

Giants Juve certainly hold the head to head league record since 1991 with 17 wins to the Neapolitan club’s six, but have often come unstuck at the Sao Paolo stadium.

In fact, the Old Lady have failed to win on any of their last seven visits to the club from Campania, a terrible record they will aiming to put an emphatic end to.

Allegri’s team may be in a patch of poor form, but top scorer Carlos Tevez continues to impress. The Argentina goal machine has been on target three times in his past four games, including bagging a brace against Napoli in the Supercoppa defeat, which makes him a fab 4/1 to net first.

Much sought-after midfielder Arturo Vidal has also shown an eye for goal of late and is 15/8 in the anytime market, while Basque frontman Fernando Llorente is 6/1 to fire home last.

Rafa Benitez’s boys have also struggled to replicate their sensational form from last season, winning just two of their last six Serie A games.

The San Paolo side have shown they can still put in a blockbuster performance for the big games, however, and will be eager to stun Juve yet again.

Napoli are 2/1 to enjoy another triumph against their rivals on home turf, and will enter the encounter in high spirits after thrashing Cesena 4-1 last time out.

Skipper Marek Hamsik (11/4 to be on target anytime) and wingman Jose Callejon (15/8) were both goal heroes in that rout, as was prolific poacher Gonzalo Higuain, who scored twice.

Back the former Real Madrid marksman, who also bagged a brace against the Old Lady earlier this season, at 8/1 to net two or more again.

Outspoken Napoli owner Aureilo De Laurentiis believes this battle between two passionate industrial Italian cities, between north and south, is “the national derby for me. Juventus are not just a team from Turin, they have a platform of support… even within our city. But Napoli is the flagship of the south.”

Expect a fiesty duel then, with these rivals available at 9/4 to split the spoils.
