It is fourth against fifth in La Liga, though Valencia can take advantage of being at home and leapfrog opponents Sevilla in the table.

The hosts are 11/10 favourites to win with Coral and are unbeaten in their last five league matches. Striker Rodrigo Moreno has scored two in his last two matches for Los Che, and is 6/1 to break the deadlock.

This fixture was the first fixture of the La Liga campaign this season and ended in a 1-1 stalemate, with Lucas Orban netting the equalising goal for Valencia, after Spanish winger Aleix Vidal put Sevilla ahead. Odds on a repeat result are 5/1 and with the teams seemingly evenly balanced, this wouldn’t be an altogether bad bet.

Vidal himself is 6/1 to score anytime for the visitors, though he hasn’t netted since the third game of the season, and instead Colombian hitman Carlos Bacca could be a better shout, after scoring two in as many matches, which includes the 3-1 defeat in the Copa del Rey to Espanyol last time out.

The 28-year-old is 6/4 to strike anytime and has 11 in 18 La Liga appearances this term, while fellow frontman Kevin Gameiro is available at 15/8 in the same market.

Prior to their cup defeat to the Barcelona-based side, Sevilla were unbeaten in 10 matches in all competitions, and have a game in hand on everyone in the league apart from first place Real Madrid. As a result, they will be looking ahead to third place Atletico Madrid who are two points ahead of them and have a tough game against Rayo Vallecano.

Last season, Valencia had the bragging rights overall, after the two teams met in the Europa League as well, despite Sevilla progressing on aggregate, to eventually win the competition.

The same fixture last term finished 3-1 to Nuno Santo’s side, who also came away from southern Spain with a point so will be encouraged by this record. With an impressive frontline which also includes Paco Alcacer, 9/2 to net first and Alvaro Negredo, 5/1 in the same market, against his former club, Valencia have a great chance.
