Liverpool, Spurs and Scunthorpe sensational 6/1 with Coral

| 17.12.2014

As Christmas creeps upon us, Coral present a spectacular 6/1 special for Liverpool, Tottenham and Scunthorpe United all to win their respective fixtures in 90 minutes only.

Bournemouth v Liverpool
Brendan Rodgers’ Reds are 21/20 favourites to beat Bournemouth in the Capital One Cup quarter-finals; a competition they have won on eight occasions in their history (more than anyone), the last victory coming in the 2011/12 season. The two teams met as recently as January this year in the FA Cup, as Liverpool eased to a 2-0 win at the Dean Court stadium. For the same scoreline, odds of 10/1 are offered.

This could be an ideal opportunity for Mario Balotelli to get back into form. To break the deadlock, the Italian striker is 4/1, and 5/1 to bag a brace or more. Rickie Lambert, meanwhile, netted home and away for Bournemouth’s rivals Southampton in their League One promotion season, so will be hoping to keep that going here. He is 4/1 to dispatch first.

Tottenham v Newcastle
Spurs will know realistically that they can win this competition, and are odds-on at 17/20 to beat Alan Pardew’s Newcastle. Maurcio Pochettino’s side have come into a good run of form at the right time and, in Harry Kane, have a striker who could develop into one of the world’s best. Having hit 10 for Tottenham this term across all competitions, he is their top scorer, and as a result is 9/2 to break the deadlock.

Christian Eriksen is a key component to Spurs’ success and having set one up, and scored a goal against Swansea last time out, odds of 11/2 to net first represent good value against a Newcastle side, who are set to field their fourth choice goalkeeper.

Worcester v Scunthorpe
Russ Wilcox’s men are overwhelmingly odds-on at 8/11 to beat Worcester in their second round FA Cup replay. Neal Bishop dispatched last time out, and is 4/1 to net anytime, while Gary McSheffrey, who has struck two so far in the competition, is 13/2 to open the scoring.
