| 14.12.2014

Turin titans Juventus look to be heading for a fourth straight Serie A title. They are odds-on at 1/4 with Coral to beat Sampdoria, and director Pavel Nedved has been praising the effect that new coach Massimiliano Allegri has had on the squad.

“Allegri is intelligent, he has started well, he has studied and changed the system, bringing only benefits to the team,” said the former Juve player.

Leading marksman Carlos Tevez, with 12 goals in all competitions for the home side, is 5/2 to open the scoring for the Old Lady, while also among the goals could be Basque target man Fernando Llorente, who is 4/1 in the same market.

Also full of praise for the club recently was Marcello Lippi, who coached Juve and played for Sampdoria. “Juventus is the strongest team in Europe and has been for a long while,” he said.

“It is the most difficult match for any team. But Sampdoria is having an extraordinary season and so can get any result in every match, including Sunday’s.”

Sampdoria, meanwhile, have striker Manolo Gabbiadini among their ranks, who is fantastic value at 7/2 to dispatch in the anytime market. The player, who is also co-owned by Juve, has a better than 50 per cent hit rate this season, having scored seven in 13 appearances across all competitions.

Last term in the same fixture, which ended 4-2 to the home side, the Sampdoria striker notched, as did Llorente. The season before last, the visitors recorded a double against the now Allegri managed team, while Juve responded by repeating this.

Arturo Vidal also netted in the 4-2 victory, and is 9/2 to break the deadlock. For the visitors, Stefano Okaka dispatched last time out in the league, and is 4/1 to score anytime.

Juventus are unbeaten in eight matches across all competitions, and will be hoping to keep that run going with fourth place Sampdoria in town.
