Only the Young favourites to follow Jack’s footsteps
Published:Jack Walton was well backed this evening to be the next eliminated act from X Factor in which punters got it right as the Mel B’s contestant was smashed into 8-13 (from 13-8) with bookmaker Coral to leave on Saturday night.
Coral is also betting on who will go next in the second elimination of the weekend on Sunday evening. The firm make Only the Young the favourite to walk at 2-1, while Lola Saunders is second in the market at 3-1.
“Punters were convinced that Jack Walton’s time on X Factor was going to come to an abrupt end and they got it spot on as the odds-on favourite waived goodbye to the show,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“We’ve reopened betting on the next elimination on Sunday evening and the odds suggest Only the Young and Lola Saunders could be under the most pressure,” added Hill.
Meanwhile, in the outright betting, Andrea Faustini remains the favourite at 6-4 to win the show, while Lauren Platt is second best at 10-3.
