New England Patriots will look to continue their dominating play when they take on Detroit Lions in Week 12 as strong seven-point favourites in NFL betting at Coral.

The Patriots improved to an AFC-best 8-2 with a 42-20 statement victory over Indianapolis Colts last weekend, grabbing an outright win as three-point road underdogs.

This match-up was expected to be a gunslingers’ duel between New England veteran QB Tom Brady and young Cults pivot, Andrew Luck, who leads NFL passers with 3388 yards to go along with 28 touchdowns.

Instead, it was RB Jonas Gray’s career day that sealed the win for the Patriots. Running for four TDs, totalling 201 rushing yards on 37 carries, Gray was a revelation for New England, who now possess potent offensive weapons both in the air and on the ground that should strike fear into opposing defenses.

Following their stunning performance against Indy, the Patriots are now pegged as 4/1 favourites to win the Super Bowl.

The 7-3 Lions are coming off a disappointing 14-6 loss to Arizona Cardinals last week, failing to cover as slender one-point road favourites. However, Detroit retain a share of the lead atop the NFC North, alongside Green Bay Packers, after posting six SU wins in their last eight outings, 4-4 ATS.

Indianapolis (6-4) will look to get back on track when they host the woeful Jacksonville Jaguars as heavy 14-point favourites.

This match-up pits one of the NFL’s best offenses against one of the worst defenses. Indy enter the weekend ranked third with 31.0 points per game, while the Jags have surrendered a stunning 28.2 points, which is the second poorest record.

The 1-9 Jags have also failed to post a SU win on the road since Week 13 of last year, and are a dismal 2-7-1 ATS this season.

Seattle Seahawks host NFL leaders Arizona Cardinals on Sunday as seven-point home favourites at Coral, in a must-win game for the defending Super Bowl champions.

The 6-4 Seahawks find themselves outside the NFL playoff picture, following a disappointing 24-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last week. That defeat was also Seattle’s fifth ATS in their last six outings, dropping them to a dismal 4-6 ATS for this season.

Arizona arrive at CenturyLink Field owning the NFL’s best record, 9-1 SU and ATS. But despite the Cards’ solid play, posting wins by double-digits in four of their last six outings, they have failed to command any respect at the bookies. Coral peg them as betting underdogs for the third time in the last four weeks.

In other NFL betting action, the 7-3 Packers play host to the 4-6 Minnesota Vikings as strong 10-point favourites. San Diego Chargers (6-4), meanwhile, will look to stay in the hunt for a playoff spot when they take on the 4-6 St. Louis Rams as five-point favourites.

New Orleans Saints (also 4-6) are favoured by three in their Monday night football match-up with Baltimore Ravens; a game both teams need to win to keep their fading playoff hopes alive.
