Silviniaco Conti heads betting for season’s first Grade One

Silviniaco Conti is 7-2 favourite with Coral for the Betfair Chase, ahead of Dynaste at 4-1, in their opening show on the Haydock Grade One. Last year’s winner Cue Card is a top price 9-2 for a repeat success, with Bobs Worth next at 8-1.

“We’re keen to keep Silviniaco Conti onside for the season’s first Grade One contest, as we feel he will improve for his run in the Charlie Hall Chase, and on his King George success last year bring’s some of the best staying chase form to the race,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

“By contrast, we were slightly underwhelmed by Cue Card’s reappearance at Exeter this week, and are happy to take on last year’s winner at this stage,” added Stevens.
