Scotland, Portugal and Romania at fab 4/1 all to win
It’s the international break and Coral are back with another sensational special, featuring Scotland, Portugal and Romania all to win at a fantastic 4/1 price.
Scotland v Republic of Ireland
Equipped with a sharpshooting strike force, Scotland host fierce international rivals Republic of Ireland, and are undefeated in two matches, following a win and draw so far. They are well priced at 11/8 for the match on home territory and Celtic Park should be like a fortress. Former Republic of Ireland boss Mick McCarthy has highlighted striker Steven Fletcher’s threat for Scotland, who is 11/2 to open the scoring.
McCarthy said: “Fletch and Steven Naismith are playing well, when I was asked about Fletch by other managers, I said he could play in the top four teams in England.”
“He’s still a young man and should be at his peak, unfortunately, some of the injuries have restricted him from playing. Honestly, I thought he could play for any one of the top four teams.
“I don’t see him that much now, but I saw his goals recently against Crystal Palace – his header for the first was fantastic and his second finish was that of a cold, calculated predator.”
Portugal v Armenia
Fernando Santos’ side are overwhelming odds-on favourites with Coral at 2/11 to crush Armenia, who are rock bottom of Euro 2016 qualifying Group I. Unsurprisingly, Cristiano Ronaldo is 9/5 to open the scoring, and has 18 goals in 10 La Liga appearances and 23 in 17 across all domestic competitions so far this season.
Also in qualifying so far, he has one goal in one game, and looks set to continue that trend against Armenia. The two sides have played each other on four occasions so far, with Portugal winning two as well as drawing twice.
Romania v Northern Ireland
The home side are heavily odds-on at 4/7 to beat Northern Ireland and they recorded a 2-0 win the last time the two sides met. For an exact scoreline, Romania are 5/1 with Bogdan Stancu the most likely to net first with outstanding odds of 7/2.
