Red hot McIlroy evens for Dubai success

Rory McIlroy is evens with bookmaker Coral going into the second round of the DP World Tour Championship after shooting 66 on day one of the season finale on the European Tour. Defending champion Henrik Stenson is 6-1, while joint-leader Shane Lowry is available at 11-1.

“Rory has got off to a blistering start which does leave us starring down the barrel so early in the tournament. There is a long way to go but backers of Mcilroy will be delighted with the way he has started his campaign,” said Coral’s John Hill.
