Burnley v Aston Villa (Draw)
Villa and Burnley have won just five matches between them this term across all competitions. These two struggling sides also have an incredibly poor combined tally of 14 goals in 12 Premier League games, meaning this clash is unlikely to be awash with excitement.

Liverpool v Stoke City (Home win)
Brendan Rodgers’ Reds put six past Stoke last season as they did the double over the Midlands men. Liverpool also hold a significant historical advantage over the Potters, with 66 victories in all competitions to the visitors’ 29.

QPR v Leicester City (Home win)
Nigel Pearson’s Foxes have recorded just one win away from the King Power this campaign, and have failed to taste victory in their last seven matches. Harry Redknapp’s Hoops, meanwhile, have taken four points from their past two home games.

Swansea City v Crystal Palace (Home win)
The Swans have been beaten just once on home turf this term, whilst Palace have won just twice on their travels. Garry Monk’s men also have recent history on their side, after losing just one of their last seven encounters with the Eagles.

West Ham United v Newcastle United (Away win)
Newcastle are in fantastic form with six victories from their past seven games in all competitions. The Hammers, who are without a win in three, have a poor recent record against the Magpies, scoring just six past them in their last six battles.

Brighton v Fulham (Home win)
The signing of Darren Bent is a game-changer for Sami Hyypia, and the Seagulls boss is likely to give his loan player a debut against his former club. Ex-England international Bent was largely benched when at Craven Cottage, so that is extra motivation to help Brighton beat them at home.

Leeds v Derby (Away win)
If Steve McClaren’s Rams can best Watford at Vicarage Road, then they can do the same at Elland Road. A fluid front three is free-scoring at present, averaging almost three per game this month and Leeds will not be able to hold out.

Middlesbrough v Blackburn (Draw)
These two sides are in fantastic form, so a share of the spoils can keep their respective runs going. Aitor Karanka’s Spanish style will clash with Rovers’ rugged approach, but an entertaining score draw looks most likely.

Sheffield Wednesday v Wigan (Draw)
Championship draw specialists Wednesday look likely to be held by Malky Mackay’s Latics, as the Scot will want to make his new charges tough to beat on the road.

Watford v Cardiff (Home win)
The Hornets will be seeking a response to their shock loss to Derby last time out, and Russell Slade’s Bluebirds are not playing anywhere near as well on the road as at home.

Sunderland v Chelsea (Away win)
Jose Mourinho takes his Blues side to Sunderland, following a 5-0 away win in the Champions League against Schalke. Chelsea are still unbeaten in the Premier League, and Diego Costa will be hoping to net his second in two matches against the Black Cats, who are without a win over the past couple of games.

Southampton v Manchester City (Draw)
What a match this will be. It is what is known as a ‘six-pointer’, though, in theory the Saints can push further clear in second if they win, and even a draw will keep them there. If Ronald Koeman’s side can secure a win they will lay down a clear marker that they are in the top four to stay. City, though, are dangerous and Sergio Aguero is in top form. This makes for an intriguing battle.

Tottenham v Everton (Draw)
Two teams who will most likely be battling for the top six at the end of the season, so this may well end in a draw. Last season, Spurs clinched a 1-0 win, and this could be the margin for victory again. Over the past four seasons, this fixture has ended in a draw and signs point to a similar outcome this time.

Valencia v Barcelona (Away win)
Just four points separate fourth and second place, respectively in La Liga, though Barca trail Real Madrid by two. Last season, the Catalan side left the Mestalla with all three points following a 3-2 victory, and with Lionel Messi in supreme form, Luis Enrique’s men could clinch a valuable win.

Sampdoria v Napoli (Away win)
Fourth take on third in Serie A, as Rafael Benitez takes his Napoli side to Genoa. The home side are unbeaten in three matches, while their visitors are unbeaten nine. Last season Gli Azzurri won this fixture 5-2, and they appear the most likely to take all three points.
