Everton v West Ham – Home win
The Toffees have won each of their last four meetings with West Ham, and not lost to them in 13 attempts in all competitions, since 2007. Sam Allardyce’s men are flying high, but should taste defeat here.

Leicester v Sunderland – Away win
Under-pressure Foxes boss Nigel Pearson has lost his last four Premier League matches, while Sunderland have won four of their previous five head-to-heads with Leicester. Back an away win again.

Man City v Swansea – Home win
Defending champions Man City are just three points ahead of the Swans in the league, but have won three of their last four against them, losing none. The Sky Blues have also won each of their previous eight home meetings with them, so this should be plain sailing for Manuel Pellegrini.

Newcastle v QPR – Home win
The Magpies really are on a roll after a slow start to the seasons with four victories on the trot now. QPR, meanwhile, are not, and languish down in 19th, after four losses in their last six. Newcastle have won their previous three matches with the Hoops, so a home win is on the cards again.

Stoke v Burnley – Home win
Three of their last four meetings have been draws, but it is hard to see past Stoke, up in ninth, in this game against basement club Burnley, who have one win all season from their 11 games.

Charlton v Millwall – Home win
The Addicks are unbeaten in three, and sit just one point off the Championship play-off places. Ian Holloway’s Lions are are two off the drop-zone, meanwhile, and a draw is the best result they have had from three matches. The home side should win here.

Norwich v Brighton – Away win
Sami Hyypia’s Seagulls are hovering above the bottom three; however, they are the form team here with four points from two matches. Norwich might be two points off the top six, but have lost the last two. This makes for an interesting game.

Watford v Derby – Draw
The Hornets could go joint-top with the Rams here, if they secure what would be a massive three points. Derby have won two matches in a row, dismantling ninth-placed Wolves 5-0 last time out. Watford, meanwhile, have lost two on the spin, though will be more than up for this clash. It could well end in a draw.

Wolves v Nottingham Forest – Home win
Black Country outfit Wolves will be wanting to bounce back after that heavy defeat to the Rams last time out; however, Stuart Pearce’s side can be confident of securing a consecutive three points, after defeating Norwich previously. A win for either side would push them into a play-off spot, if other results go their way, however, home fans will be expecting a response.

Arsenal v Man Utd – Home win
It has been suggested that the Gunners could kick-start their season by beating Man Utd and Borussia Dortmund. Arsene Wenger’s side usually struggle to beat the Red Devils, though won’t get a better chance to do so here, considering the injuries in Louis van Gaal’s squad. Danny Welbeck will no doubt be keen to show his former employers that they were wrong to let him go in the summer.

Partick Thistle v Aberdeen – Away win
As the Dons have won four of the last Scottish Premiership meetings between the sides, including a 2-0 victory in August, Aberdeen look to have Thistle in the palm of their hands.

Crystal Palace v Liverpool – Away win
Struggling Palace will find revenge for wrecking the title bid of Brendan Rodgers’ Reds last term is a dish served up cold to them here. Even a fresh injury blow to Daniel Sturridge will not deny Liverpool vengeance.

Hull v Tottenham – Draw
The presence of several Spurs old boys in the Tigers’ spine, plus both teams being in similar form means all signs point to a share of the spoils.

AC Milan v Inter Milan – Draw
During his first spell at Inter, Roberto Mancini won just one San Siro derby when nominally the visiting coach. He is likely to impose a change of system, so it will take time for the Nerazzurri to adapt. A draw looks the most likely outcome.

Aston Villa v Southampton – Away win
High-flying Saints can expect victory on Monday Night Football against Villa, who are in freefall after no win and one goal in seven.
