McCoy 10-1 to reach 300 mark this season after winning return

Tony McCoy remains 10-1 with Coral to ride 300 winners this season, after the champion jockey made a winning return to action at Fontwell today.

“We shouldn’t have been surprised to see Tony McCoy make an immediate return to the winners’ enclosure following what was by his unique standards a lengthy absence from the racecourse, but the break may just prevent even the remarkable AP from reaching 300 winners in a single campaign, although clearly we’re not totally dismissing his chances,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
