Brentford, Cardiff and PSG combine for sensational 7/1 treble

Got that Friday feeling? Then start the footballing weekend off with a tasty treble on offer at Coral, with massively enhanced odds of 7/1 on wins for Brentford, Cardiff City and PSG.

The Bees battle Fulham in a west London derby, while the Bluebirds host Reading and Laurent Blanc’s French champions are away at Metz. Each of the three featured sides in this boosted bet are short-price or odds-on favourites for individual victories, so punters are much better off taking the combined odds.

Here are some other reasons why you should pile money on this Championship and Ligue 1 treble now.

Brentford v Fulham
Only Norwich City have beaten the Bees at home in the league this season so far, so they start as 13/10 favourites to win this clash with their local rivals. Andre Gray is in brilliant form for Brentford, with four goals in three games this month, so he is 5/4 to net again anytime in this encounter.

Cardiff v Reading
When these two sides were last in the same division (2011/12), the Bluebirds did the double over Reading. If you add in the fact that Cardiff signed both Royals top scorer Adam le Fondre and their best defender, Sean Morrison, it’s easy to see why the hosts are 11/10 favourites for three points.

Since becoming Bluebirds boss, Russell Slade has won all his home games, though both teams have scored. Odds of 17/5 say this will happen again here. Former Manchester United forward Federico Macheda has netted in all three of those matches at the Cardiff City Stadium, and is 6/5 to do so again on home turf.

Metz v PSG
When PSG last played Metz, they won 3-0. In this battle of the haves and have-nots in France, the reigning champions are odds-on 4/9 favourites for an away victory here. Blanc’s boys have roughly scored twice as many goals, and conceded only half as often as their hosts.

Much of PSG’s exploits in front of goal is largely down to the form of Uruguay international Edinson Cavani, and Brazilian winger Lucas Moura in attack. Cavani has scored in both of the Parisians’ last two away games, and is an even-money anytime chance. Moura, meanwhile, has three in three, and is better value at 7/4 in that market.
