Autumn internationals: All Blacks battle Scots while Wales face Fiji
With England taking on South Africa, there are still 10 more teams in Autumn International action, so Coral take a closer look at those other games.
Scotland v New Zealand
Steve Hansen’s side will be aiming to make it two wins from two as they take on Scotland, and are an overwhelmingly odds-on price of 1/33 with Coral to maintain their run. Having just edged out Stuart Lancaster’s England team last time out by three points, it should be, in theory a far simpler task, though Scotland won’t make it easy.
However, with Dan Carter in the All Blacks side, who is 11/4 to score anytime, there is every reason to assume the southern hemisphere outfit can produce the goods. For Scotland, Sean Maitland could be their best chance of putting five points on the board and is 7/2 to do so anytime.
Wales v Fiji
Warren Gatland’s men will be hoping to bounce back from their defeat to Australia, and are odds-on at 1/25 to beat Fiji. No doubt, dangerman George North is the man to look out for and is 5/1 to score the first try. Fiji’s best hope of scoring could come from Waisea Nayacalevu, who is 7/2 to cross anytime.
Italy v Argentina
The South American team are slowly becoming a gradual force in international rugby union, and are odds-on at 8/11 to beat an ever-improving Italian side, who have narrow odds of 11/10 themselves. Leonardo Sarto is 10/3 to score for the European’s anytime, while Manuel Montero is 2/1 in the same market, for their opponents.
Ireland v Georgia
It certainly was the luck of the Irish in their first match. Following their fine win over South Africa, Ireland are heavily odds-on at 1/500 to beat emerging rugby union nation Georgia.
France v Australia
Along with the England match, this could make for the best viewing. Australia will be hoping to follow up the win over Wales by beating France, and are odds-on at 10/11 to do so, while their opponents are the same price. Israel Folau is a great price at 11/8 to score anytime for the Kangaroos, and for France Teddy Thomas is 7/4 in the same market.
