Tuesday early treble: Huybrechts, Wright, M Smith all to win at 16/5

| 07.10.2014

Following a terrific first day at the darts World Grand Prix event in Dublin on Monday, Coral are offering a dramatically enhanced price of 16/5 for all of Kim Huybrechts, Peter Wright and Michael Smith to win their matches.

In the second half of the first round fixtures, Belgian Huybrechts takes on Terry Jenkins, Snakebite Wright duels with Jamie Caven and Bully Boy Smith challenges Dean Winstanley.

These three names specially hand-picked by Coral are all odds-on favourites in their respective battles, as they fight for the £100k first place prize.

Terry Jenkins v Kim Huybrechts
Belgium’s best darting star Huybrechts takes on the ageing Jenkins in this first round match-up, that kicks the evening off on Tuesday at 7.10pm on Sky Sports 1.

Hurricane Huybrechts heads into this fixture as the odds-on favourite at 8/11 against the Englishman who is almost twice his age. The duo have already met this year in a UK Qualifier battle in late February, with the Belgium winning 6-2. In this best of three sets encounter, Huybrechts is a 21/10 chance to beat Jenkins 2-0.

Peter Wright v Jamie Caven
Scottish superstar Snakebite Wright goes into this match, that is next up, on the back of winning three of his last four head-to-heads with English qualifier Caven. He is, therefore, odds-on at 4/7 to beat him again.

Wright has had a fantastic last couple of years, and is up to number five in the PDC Order of Merit and seeded fourth for this competition. He comes up against Caven, who has failed to progress past this last 32 stage at the World Grand Prix in four attempts. Back Wright at an enticing 7/4 to win 2-0.

Dean Winstanley v Michael Smith
This northern English duo have faced each other just once before, with Smith knocking Winstanley out this year at the European Tour in the last 64.

Bully Boy, still just 24, thrashed the Yorkshireman 6-2 that day, and is therefore odds-on 4/9 favourite for victory again, and 13/10 to beat him 2-0 in this fourth match of the night.
