Sheffield Utd, Preston and Bury all to win in 90 minutes at 9/2

| 07.10.2014

Coral are serving up a tantalising enhanced treble for tonight’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, as victories for Sheffield United, Preston North End and Bury are sure to produce some bang for your buck at 9/2.

Hartlepool v Sheffield United
Hartlepool sit rock bottom of the 92 league teams in England, and welcome a big club in the form of Sheffield United to Victoria Park who are within two points of the play-offs in League One.

The Blades are odds-on favourites at 5/6 to take a victory from the cup-tie and progress into the next round in 90 minutes. Nigel Clough’s men have already stated their intention to compete to win this year’s competition, and have indicated they will field a strong side against the struggling Pools.

Ben Davies has rifled in four times this season and the 33-year-old is 3/1 to get a goal anytime during this fixture. Summer signing from Livingston Marc McNulty is priced in at 11/2 to net first in the contest following getting himself on the score-sheet in another cup competition, when he was on target in the Capital One Cup in August.

Preston v Port Vale
Preston entertain a Port Vale side languishing in the relegation spots in League One, fresh off a 1-0 reverse to Fleetwood Town, whereas Simon Grayson’s men have three victories on the bounce.

North End are 4/6 odds-on favourites for the clash and have won both encounters between the clubs last season.

Joe Garner has also found himself in prolific form so far this campaign with seven goals to his name. Naturally, he is 7/2 to net first tonight at Deepdale.

Bury v Morecambe
Bury are soaring high at the top of League Two after eleven games this term, and are 8/11 odds-on favourites to beat a Morecambe side that have lost three of their last four games.

The Shakers sport a front pair of Danny Rose and Daniel Nardiello, who have notched nine league goals between them so far this season. Rose is favourite to get off the mark first at 4/1, quickly followed by Nardeillo at 9/2.

League leaders Bury have emerged victorious in their last two mid-week encounters with the Shrimps and, following their 2-0 disposal of Tranmere at the weekend, they enter the game in fine form.
