Celebrate a tantalising Tuesday of Johnstone’s Paint Trophy action with Coral’s incredible enhanced odds.

Fierce competitors Coventry City, MK Dons and Portsmouth are available at a fantastic 5/1 all to win their respective cup clashes over 90 minutes.

The Sky Blues engage in battle with Exeter City, whilst MK Dons duel with bitter rivals Wimbledon and Pompey meet Northampton Town.

Here’s why you should plump for this terrific trio of home teams in this stupendous southern special.

Coventry v Exeter
The Sky Blues are odds-on favourites at 8/11 to take the spoils from this encounter against Exeter. League One side Coventry hold the historical advantage over the fourth tier team, having defeated them 14 times in all competitions, with their largest margin of victory a 6-1 triumph in 1957. Coventry are 150/1 to take inspiration from the past and repeat that thrashing this time around.

Exeter suffered a poor streak of eight consecutive games without a win at the beginning of this campaign, and could also be without eight potential first-team players, due to injury and international call-ups.

Sky Blues top scorer Josh McQuoid netted the opener for Coventry last time out, and is 9/2 to fire home first once more, or 6/5 to score anytime.

MK Dons v Wimbledon
MK Dons have already defeated rivals Wimbledon in the Capital One Cup this term. They emerged as 3-1 winners on that occasion and are 11/1 to replicate that result, or odds-on favourites at 8/15 to claim all the spoils with any scoreline.

The Wombles have only faced MK Dons on two occasions in their history, but were defeated both times, meaning Karl Robinson’s side can enter this clash with confidence. The Milton Keynes-based team caused a stir this season after slaying giants Manchester United in cup competition, and have lost just one game on home turf this term.

Starlet, and apparent Liverpool target, Dele Alli has been lighting up League One with Robinson’s men, and is 6/1 to bag a brace or better. Meanwhile, clubmates and fearsome forwards Benik Afobe and Will Grigg are 10/11 and evens to score anytime respectively.

Portsmouth v Northampton
Former Premier League side Pompey are unbeaten in five games, making them 6/5 favourites to defeat Northampton, who they have already vanquished 2-0 this term. Craig Westcarr hit home last to seal that victory and is 11/2 to do the same again, or 6/4 to score anytime.

The south coast side hold the all-important head-to-head record over the Cobblers, who they have beaten 15 times in all competitions.

Pompey fans can also take courage from coach Andy Awford’s home form this season. The hosts have lost just once on home turf so far and will be expecting to extend that impressive record against League Two rivals Northampton.
