SPORTSBOOK ODDS

Ahead of England’s first Euro 2016 qualifier, Coral offer a number of ‘outside of the box’ odds as the Three Lions travel to Switzerland.

Fab-Fever! Fabian Delph to score anytime, 8/1
Delph showed some positive glimpses when he came on as a substitute to make his senior England debut against Norway, and definitely has the talent to blossom on an international stage. He gets into some good positions with his movement, and if the Aston Villa man gets on the end of ball running past the striker, Delph knows exactly where the goal is.

0-0 stalemate, 13/2
The Swiss are renowned for staying neutral and sitting on the fence and. with England going through a bit of a bad patch and struggling to create chances, a goalless draw could be the most likely result.

With Daniel Sturridge withdrawn due to injury, the Three Lions could miss his sharpness and movement up front. His link-up play with Raheem Sterling against Norway was one of the positives of the match.

2nd half correct score: Switzerland 0-1 England, 4/1
Against Norway, Wayne Rooney’s second half penalty was enough to secure a 1-0 result. If England keep things tight until half time, and acclimatise well to what could be a hostile atmosphere, the second half could be an ideal opportunity to be more expansive and take some risks.

Raheem Sterling to score anytime, 11/4
It was October 2013 when a midfield player last scored for England, as Steven Gerrard notched against Poland. However, with a new-look quartet, or even quintet set to start against Switzerland, there is no reason why Raheem Sterling can’t step up. However, as domestic boss Brendan Rodgers has shown, when utilising the player in a number 10 role, behind a front duo, he is at his most dangerous. Hodgson took that risk in England’s first World Cup match against Italy, and and that gamble very nearly paid off in the first 30 seconds.
