Coral have a terrific treble for the first round of the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign, featuring Republic of Ireland, Hungary and Denmark all to win at 9/2.

Denmark v Armenia
Kicking off this treble are Denmark, who host former Russian state Armenia – arguably one of the minnows of European football. In two continental qualifying meetings between the two teams, the Scandinavian side have won both of them, racking up five goals in the process.

The Danes have a host of Premier League experience scattered through their squad, including former Arsenal forward Niklas Bendtner, who now plays for Wolfsburg; Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, and ex-Liverpool centre back Daniel Agger.

Georgia v Republic of Ireland
Martin O’Neil’s men take on Georgia away in what should be a routine victory for the Irish. They warmed up for the fixture with a 2-0 win over Oman at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.

Striker Kevin Doyle and Reading centre back Alex Pearce grabbed the goals that proved the difference on the night, and the former looked threatening all evening. He could be key for the team in Eastern Europe. Furthermore Robbie Keane has four in two matches against Georgia, while Doyle scored the first goal the last time Ireland won on ex-Soviet territory.

The Republic have played Georgia on two occasions in European qualifying matches and boast a 100 per cent record, scoring four goals and conceding just once. In total, they have played each other five times, with Ireland winning every match, netting a dozen and shipping three. As well as this, they won home and away in the World Cup 2010 qualifying campaign.

Hungary v Northern Ireland
Over four matches, Hungary boast a perfect record over Northern Ireland, and they have a sensational chance to continue in this vein as the teams take each other on in their first Euro 2016 qualifying match.

The Magical Magyars revolutionised the game in the 1950s, going on to dominate with their ‘golden generation’ that included Ferenc Puskas, laying the tactical foundation for ‘total football’.

Captain Zoltan Gera will be accustomed to a number of Northern Ireland’s players, having played with and against some of them in England and that, coupled with the fact they are playing in front of a home crowd, gives Hungary a formidable advantage.
