NFL: Back Bills, Colts and Eagles in tremendous treble

| 21.09.2014

With the NFL season firmly up and running, Coral continue to give great offers to their customers.

Here we tell you why you should back individual odds-on favourites Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles all to win at an enhanced 23/10 price.

San Diego Chargers at Buffalo Bills
The Bills may be building something very special in Orchard Park this season. Buffalo have won their opening two games, and are 4/5 to make it three wins this Sunday.

Their success has been underpinned by a solid defense and good special teams play, with last week’s 29-10 win over Miami being capped off by C.J. Spiller’s 102-yard kick-off return for a touchdown. Spiller – the Bills’ star running back – can be backed at 8/1 with Coral to score the first touchdown against San Diego this time out.

Buffalo’s defense is fifth against the run in 2014, giving up just 83 yards per game. Ryan Matthews, the number-one running back for the opposition, is an injury doubt and, as a result, San Diego may worry about how they will move the ball on the ground against the Bills.

There is still room for improvement for the Bills. They lead the league for trips to the red zone in 2014, but have a relatively low conversion rate of 30 per cent. Buffalo’s offense has to get better at some stage and, if they can begin that improvement this weekend, it will be tough for the Chargers to keep up.

Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars
This is a basement battle in the AFC South, although the visitors to Everbank Field will count themselves a little unlucky to have the same 0-2 record as their hosts.

Last week it seemed as though the Colts were all set to take the win as they put up a 20-6 lead in the third quarter, but a spirited fight-back from Philadelphia saw the team slip to an eventual 30-27 defeat.

That result came after another narrow loss on the road against Denver, and meant that Indianapolis slipped to back-to-back defeats for the first time during quarterback Andrew Luck’s tenure at the club.

It is, however, hard to envision that losing run extending to three games, as the Jaguars simply do not have the kind of talent that the Broncos and Eagles possess. The Colts can get back to winning ways in this encounter, and punters can back them here at odds of 2/7 with Coral to do so.

Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles
Chip Kelly’s high-powered Eagles offense has picked up right where it left off last season – Philadelphia are 2-0 and, heading into Week 3, led the league with an average of 32 points scored per game. The Eagles are 10/11 to score more than 21.5 points this Sunday.

Philadelphia will fancy their chances of extending their winning run to three games, as they host division rivals Washington at Lincoln Financial Field. The Redskins are reeling after the news came through that quarterback Robert Griffin III had suffered a dislocated ankle, an injury which could see him sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Washington will turn to backup Kirk Cousins, who last week entered the fray to guide the team to a 41-10 victory over hapless Jacksonville. Cousins’ has a mixed record when starting, however, and the team is likely to miss Griffin’s dynamism.

The Redskins look certain to pose a much tougher test of the backup quarterback’s credentials. Punters can back Philadelphia at 2/5 to prevail in this encounter but, as they and the other sides featured in this bet are all odds-on, your best is to take this treble.
