Italy, France and Belgium in fantastic 15/2 international treble

| 04.09.2014

Just because the Premier League is off for the international break, doesn’t mean you can’t win big with Coral. We have a tasty treble at enhanced odds of 15/2 on victories for Italy, France and Belgium.

Antonio Conte’s first game in charge of the Azzurri is against the Netherlands, also under new management with Guus Hiddink returning to the Clockwork Orange. Les Bleus, meanwhile, are at home to dethroned world champions Spain as their preparations for hosting Euro 2016 begin, and Marc Wilmots’ Red Devils take on an Australia team in transition.

Here’s why this is such a fantastic bet.

Italy v Netherlands
The Azzurri have lost just one of their last 11 meetings with the Dutch, so are attractive value at 7/5 for a win. Conte has kept the theme of encouraging youth going from predecessor Cesare Prandelli. Just six of his first squad are aged 30 and over.

Clockwork Orange counterpart Hiddink has seen some key players withdraw from his maiden selection of his second stint in charge of the Netherlands. Without key World Cup performers Ron Vlaar at the back and Arjen Robben in attack, the Dutch look far less threatening.

PSG playmaker Marco Verratti netted for Italy the last time these two nations met, and is 20/1 to score last or 13/2 in the anytime market. Ciro Immobile, a summer signing for Borussia Dortmund, could lead the Azzurri attack as Mario Balotelli beds in following his move to Liverpool, and is 5/1 to grab the first goal.

France v Spain
Les Bleus are also 7/5 to defeat deflated La Roja, who are no longer dominating global football. While Spain struggled to score goals in Brazil, France have a frontman bang in form. Karim Benzema has nine in his last 10 internationals, and is 5/4 to net anytime here.

Basque winger Antoine Griezmann is also a dangerous weapon in Dider Deschamps’ Arsenal. He will play against some Atletico Madrid teammates here, and is 2/1 to score in this fixture. For full coverage of this France v Spain game, see our dedicated match preview.

Belgium v Australia
This is a first-ever for men’s football, although the Belgian ladies have beaten the Aussies before. Wilmots is odds-on at 4/9 to steer the Red Devils to victory over the Socceroos because they went much further at the World Cup.

It’s a chance for Belgium’s fringe players to impress, and Kevin Mirallas of Everton should do just that at 5/4 to score anytime. Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj could really make an impact off the bench here, and is a tasty 10/1 to net last.
