Bournemouth, Reading and Watford a sensational 6/1 special

| 15.09.2014

There’s money to be made on midweek football, and Coral customers can get a boosted price of 6/1 on victories for Bournemouth, Reading and Watford in Championship action.

Eddie Howe’s Cherries host Leeds United, while the Royals face Millwall at home and the Hornets are away to struggling Blackpool. Here’s why you should back all three featured teams to win at enhanced odds.

Bournemouth v Leeds
The Cherries beat Leeds 4-1 in this fixture last term, and only table-toppers Nottingham Forest have come away from Dean Court with three points this term. That is why Bournemouth are odds-on 4/7 favourites to defeat the Whites here.

Howe’s summer signing Callum Wilson has scored twice in his last three home appearances across all competitions, and is a 4/1 chance to get the first goal. Fellow forward Yann Kermogant bagged a brace when Leeds last visited the south coast and is a 7/1 shot to net two or more again.

Reading v Millwall
Nigel Adkins knows the Royals are on a nine-match unbeaten run against the Lions from south London, winning six, and have gained three straight victories to nil this season in the league and cup. Reading are worthy 23/20 favourites to defeat Ian Holloway’s men, then, and 15/8 to keep a clean sheet.

Glenn Murray got his loan spell with the Berkshire side off to the perfect start by bagging a brace on his debut. He is 5/1 to score two goals or more again here. Millwall, meanwhile, have lost three of their last four in all competitions.

Blackpool v Watford
Only Fulham’s inferior goal difference keeps crisis club Blackpool off the bottom of the Championship. Tangerines chairman Karl Oyston has reportedly been offering the manager’s job to other coaches as Jose Riga’s hastily assembled squad flounder near the foot of the table. It’s no wonder Watford are odds-on 5/6 favourites to win at Bloomfield Road.

Troy Deeney bagged a brace in the Hornets’ last encounter with Blackpool, and is also odds-on at 10/11 for a goal anytime, while a 4/1 price says he will net at the double or better once more.
