Neil Warnock is the new evens favourite to be the next permanent Crystal Palace manager after a huge gamble on the former Eagles boss yesterday which saw him backed from 33-1 with Coral. Steve Clarke is second best in the betting at 7-2, while Neil Lennon is out to 9-2 after heading the market over the weekend.

“Neil Warnock was as big as 33-1 on Monday morning, but as the day progressed, interest in him really did start to hot up and his price soon collapsed,” said Coral’s John Hill.
