Man City, Wolves and Rangers in Coral’s champions treble at 9/1

| 10.08.2014

Go with Coral to enjoy enhanced odds of 9/1 on all of these favourites in their respective matches to win in normal time. The trio were all champions of their leagues last term.

Manchester City aim to carry the momentum on from their fantastic Premier League campaign to see off Arsenal in the Community shield, while newly-promoted League One winners Wolves host Norwich and Scottish giants Rangers take on old foes Hearts.

Arsenal v Manchester City
City have not lost in their last four matches against the Gunners, and are favourites to beat them again in 90 minutes at 5/4 in the normal market.

The 2013/14 Premier League champions are aiming to win their second Community Shield trophy in three years, and are odds-on at 8/13 to lift it once more.

Last season, the duo were involved in an enthralling encounter at the Etihad in the league, with the hosts coming out 6-3 winners, and they’ll be hoping to entertain the crowd once more, this time at Wembley. If you fancy the game to produce goals again, take odds of 4/1 for the score total to be over 4.5.

Wolves v Norwich City
This will be a battle of confidence, with home side Wolves (7/5 favourites to win) going into this match on the back of recording a points total of 103 in League One last term, as they were resounding champions. They are unbeaten since March.

Norwich, on the other hand, will need to pick up the pieces after a disappointing and uninspiring campaign saw them relegated from the top-flight.

History suggests this fixture will lean towards the Black Country side. In their head-to-heads in all competitions, Wolves boast a 28-10 lead. The Canaries, meanwhile, have not managed to win their opening game of the season for the last 11 campaigns.

Rangers v Hearts
It does seem strange that these Scottish greats will face each other in the second tier this term, but here they meet, and with Rangers odds-on favourites at 8/11 for victory.

They last played each other in 2012, before the Glasgow giants were sanctioned and relegated, with Ally McCoist’s side running out 3-0 winners against the recently relegated capital club. They are 14/1 to win by that scoreline once more.

On top of that, Rangers have beaten Hearts in nine of their last 13 head-to-heads, and look set to start life in the Scottish Championship with victory, as they aim to make it three successive promotions and return to the top-flight.
