Hosts start as favourites to win Cardiff contest

| 26.08.2014

England are 8-11 with leading bookmaker Coral to win the second one-day international in Cardiff tomorrow and go 1-0 up in the series following yesterday’s washout in Bristol. India, on the other hand, India are available at 11-10 with the firm to seal the win.

In the top England batsman market, opener Alex Hales has been priced up at 9-2 to top score, while captain Alastair Cook and Ian Bell head the betting at 7-2.

“Punters and bookmakers will be hoping the rain stays away tomorrow so we can get a result. England have been well backed to win the game and the series after they dominated the Test series earlier in the summer,” said Coral’s John Hill.
