Champions slashed after second straight victory

| 25.08.2014

Manchester City have been cut into 2-1 (from 5-2) with Coral to defend their Premier League title this season following a 3-1 victory over Liverpool. Last season’s runners-up are now as big as 14-1, while Chelsea sit top of the outright betting at 6-5.

“After passing their first big test of the campaign, champions Manchester City have been slashed in the outright betting. There is a long way to go but the early betting suggests it could well be a two horse for the league this season,” said Coral’s John Hill.
