West Yorkshire derby as Rhinos face Wildcats, FC host Wolves

SPORTSBOOK ODDS

Following an agonising victory over Catalan Dragons last time out, the Rhinos will be hoping for an easier time against Wakefield, as they travel to the Belle Vue in a bid to keep the heat on table-toppers St Helens. Leeds, currently one point off the Saints, are odds-on at 2/9 to beat James Webster’s side that drew 20-20 with Hull FC previously. Trinity are 10/3 to beat the Rhinos.

Winger Ryan Hall, who crossed the whitewash first for Leeds against the Dragons, is 6/1 to be the game’s opening scorer. On 14 tries, he’s just three behind Saints player Tommy Makinson. The best hope for the Wildcats could be Reece Lyne, who is 12/1 to open the account, after his try against FC.

Elewhere, FC take on Warrington, who annihilated Bradford Bulls in their last match 50-24. The Wolves are cemented in a play-off place, and have been going strong. Odds-on at 1/2 to win the match, they are the clear favourites, while Lee Radford’s team are 13/8. Kirk Yeaman scored twice for the Humberside team against Wakefield, and is good value to carry that form on at 14/1 to record the game’s opening try. Wire’s Joel Monaghan is in top form, and having breached the in-goal area twice against the Bulls, is 6/1 to be the initial try scorer at the KC Stadium.

London are rooted to the bottom of the Super League, and have very little chance of changing that in their next clash against Wigan, who are odds-on at a staggering 1/50 to win this fixture. To record their first win of the season, the Broncos are 12/1 to beat the Lancashire outfit, and the fact they are at home isn’t expected to make an iota of a difference.

Tied on points with Warrington, Huddersfield take on Salford who lost 14-10 to Castleford Tigers in their last match. The Giants are in the ascendency, having won the last four games on the spin, and are odds-on at 1/5 to keep that going against the Red Devils, who are 7/2.
