The draw in the First Test between England and India at Trent Bridge has been heavily backed going into the opening day and is now into 11-8 (from 7-4) with Coral. Rain has been forecasted over the five days which has left the draw the favourite of three possible outcomes.

In the series betting, England are Evs to come out on top in the five-match series, while the visitors, India, are 7-4 to inflict another series defeat on the hosts this summer.

“If the reports are to believed, there could be quite a bit of interruption in this Test match so the smart money has come in for the draw ahead of the opener at Trent Bridge,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“Despite their disappointing defeat against Sri Lanka earlier this summer, punters certainly believe England can bounce back against India as they have been popular in the series betting,” added Hill.
