Justin Rose is 22-1 with Coral to win the Open Championship after his victory in the Quicken Loans National on Sunday at the Congressional  Country Club.

The former US Open winner is one of five Europeans who are in the top six in the betting for the major which will be held at Royal Liverpool Golf Club next month.

Rose has also been cut to pick up his second major of his career in the US PGA Championship where he is now 22-1 to come out on top in Kentucky.

“No Englishmen has won the Open Championship since Nick Faldo in 1992, Rose has a good chance of ending that wait as the betting suggests. His odds have been clipped slightly following his recent victory,” said Coral’s John Hill.
