Kingman favoured for Royal revenge over Guineas conqueror

Kingman is evens favourite with Coral for next Tuesday’s St James’s Palace Stakes, ahead of his Qipco 2,000 Guineas conqueror Night Of Thunder at 2-1, following the latest entry stage for the Group One mile.

“Kingman has been favourite for the St James’s Palace since his Irish Guineas victory, but we’ve seen support for Night Of Thunder this week, which is not surprising given how well his Newmarket win is working out, and the odds suggest we could witness an epic rematch next Tuesday,” said Coral’s David Stevens

Looking ahead to Wednesday’s action, Treve is all the rage for the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes, and the Arc heroine is now 4-6 (from 4-5) favourite for the ten furlong showpiece.

“Remote is the latest runner to be ruled out of the day two highlight, and the race looks increasingly at the mercy of Treve, who lost very little in defeat to Cirrus Des Aigles on her seasonal reappearance and who could shorten even further, perhaps to around the 1-3 mark, next Wednesday” reckoned Coral’s David Stevens.
