Brazil get punters off to a flyer in World Cup
Punters were celebrating last night after a positive start to the World Cup with Brazil’s 3-1 victory over Croatia. The ante-post favourites were well backed with Coral, as was Neymar to score the first goal in the game, which proved a winner as the opener in the tie was an own-goal.
Despite the win, Coral are unchanged on Brazil in the outright betting where the hosts are a top price of 3-1, while in the top goalscorer market, Neymar is into 5-2 after his two goals yesterday.
“It was the perfect start for punters as Brazil picked up the win. Neymar was popular to score the first goal, while ante-post backers of Neymar to be top goalscroer have got off to a flyer,” said Coral’s John Hill.
