Larsson is bookies favourite to replace Lennon at Celtic Park

| 22.05.2014

Henrik Larsson has been installed as the 4-5 favourite with Coral to become the new permanent Celtic manager after Neil Lennon walked away from the job earlier this afternoon.

Former Manchester United boss David Moyes has been popular with punters and is now 5-1 after initially being installed at 8-1 in the betting, while Jackie McNamara has also attracted support and is now 6-1(from 12-1).

“The betting suggests Henrik Larsson is the likeliest to replace Lennon but we have seen plenty of interest in David Moyes and for Jackie McNamara once we opened up a book,” said Coral’s John Hill.

Since his departure from Celtic Park, Lennon has become the new odds-on favourite to become the next Norwich manager, where he is now 1-2, while Malky Mackay is second best at 6-4.
