England, Spain, Uruguay and Chile all to win at 7/4

| 30.05.2014

Coral are offering a fantastically enhanced price of 7/4 for heavy odds-on favourites and home sides England to beat Peru, Spain to see off Bolivia, Uruguay to win against Northern Ireland and Chile for victory over Egypt.

England v Peru
The normal market price for the Three Lions to win this game at Wembley, their last before travelling to America, is 1/3, as Roy Hodgson’s side face a depleted and inexperienced Peru.

Los Incas have lost four of their last six matches and will be without star players Claudio Pizarro, Jefferson Farfan, Juan Manuel Vargas, Carlos Zambrano and Paolo Guerrero for this battle.

England, on the other hand, will have their full World Cup squad of 23, plus seven standbys at the ready, and they will be raring to go ahead of their first tournament match against Italy.

Spain v Bolivia
Spain will be without their Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid players, as well as Jesus Navas, Alvaro Negredo and Fernando Llorente for this fixture, but the World Cup holders will still be too strong for the South Americans.

Barcelona’s Gerard Deulofeu, who was on loan at Everton this season, has got the surprise call-up and is priced at evens to net anytime on his debut in Seville.

The two nations have faced each other just once before, back in 1994, with Spain winning 3-1, and they have odds of 12/1 to repeat that scoreline again. Vicente del Bosque’s side are heavy favourites just to get a victory at 1/7.

Uruguay v Northern Ireland
It’s official, Northern Ireland are going to South America this summer. However, just for a friendly against two-time World Cup winners Uruguay (28/1 to lift trophy in Brazil) in Luis Suarez’s home city of Montevideo. They also face Chile five days later.

The Liverpool superstar will not feature in this match, as he is recovering from knee surgery, but his nation will have the likes of Edinson Cavani (8/11 to net anytime) and Diego Forlan (4/5) to fire them to victory (2/9).

Northern Ireland may have the upper hand in head-to-heads over Uruguay, winning two out of three, but will neither be acclimatised to the conditions nor possess enough quality to trouble the hosts.

Chile v Egypt
Chile and Egypt have faced each other just once recently – last February – with the former 2-1 victors. Take odds of 8/1 for them to win by that scoreline again, or odds-on at 2/5 just to beat them.

Home side Chile have lost just two in their last 13 international games, against footballing giants Germany and Brazil, getting victories in eight of them (including against England at Wembley), so are very much in form.

Egypt are also on a great run, but those fixtures were mainly against lesser African sides, and it is unlikely they can match the World Cup finalists Santiago. Punters must remember their recent 6-1 thrashing by Ghana when they come up against tougher opposition.
