Romelu Lukaku and Emmanuel Adebayor are fine 5/1 scoring double

Romelu Lukaku and Emmanuel Adebayor are Coral’s best value scoring bet yet. The pair will be unleashed on strugglers Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion for Everton and Tottenham respectively.

Punters that put money on this 5/1 double will be quid’s in if both men net anytime. Here’s why this is such fantastic value.

Lukaku has three goals in as many games against Sunderland, and comes into this meeting with the Premier League’s basement club with four in his last six. The big Belgian is not short of supply, with the likes of Ross Barkley, Kevin Mirallas and Steven Naismith to feed him.

On loan at the Toffees from Chelsea, Lukaku is 5/4 on his own to net anytime, a 5/1 shot to score first and 7/1 for two goals or more. He has accomplished that latter feat against Sunderland before, so back him to do so again.

Everton are chasing Champions League football, and are realistic prospects for a top-four finish. To achieve that aim, they simply must beaten sides like the Black Cats. Extra motivation for this match comes from the fact that Gus Poyet ended their unbeaten home run in the reverse fixture back in December.

Adebayor, meanwhile, has never lost when he has turned out against Albion. He scored twice on his only Premier League appearance at The Hawthorns, and he has bagged five braces already this season. Odds of 8/1 on him getting two or more here look a sound investment, then.

One of those five doubles came in Adebayor’s last outing – in the 5-1 thrashing of Sunderland. Rejuvenated by Spurs head coach Tim Sherwood, who he literally saluted during that game, the former Arsenal and Manchester City frontman is 11/2 to score first and 11/8 to be on target anytime.

Expect Adebayor to lead the Tottenham line again because summer signing and Spanish flop Roberto Soldado is still sidelined by injury. Sherwood is also chasing a top-four finish, amid rife speculation that he will be replaced in the summer.

Backing Lukaku and Adebayor to damage the survival prospects of two relegation-threatened teams really does look fantastic value at 5/1, so bet now.
