Oasis odds-on to headline Glastonbury after reunion speculation
Leading bookmaker Coral is taking bets on who will headline Glastonbury this year, and after speculation grew yesterday that the band would reunite, the Manchester group are 1-2 to do so, while they are 4-11 to reform at some stage this year.
Should Oasis not be named the headline act, betting is also available on who will take centre stage at the music festival with Prince priced up at 7/4, while heavy metal band Metallica are 5-1.
“Yesterday we suspended betting on who will headline at Glastonbury after the tweet which was sent out by Liam Gallagher. Once the market had reopened, Oasis had shortened significantly into odds-on favouritism,” said Coral’s John Hill.
