City now odds-on for title after Liverpool slip up

Leading bookmaker Coral has cut Manchester City into 5-6 (from 5-1) to win the Premier League title after a dramatic day in the race for the trophy. Leaders Liverpool, on the other hand, have drifted out to 6-5 (from 1-6) following their defeat to Chelsea.

Cardiff are now as short as 1-25 to be relegated with Coral following their latest defeat, while Sunderland have drifted out to 11-4 for the drop.

“We’ve seen such a huge swing in the betting for the Premier League title today with Manchester City now the new favourites. We could well see more twists and turns in the final few games,” said Coral’s John Hill.

5-6 Manchester City, 6-5 Liverpool, 14-1 Chelsea.

**Top four

1-20 Arsenal, 10-1 Everton.

**Premier League relegation

1-25 Cardiff, 1-12 Norwich, 2-7 Fulham, 11-4 Sunderland, 7-1 Aston Villa.
