The Europa League moves onto the last 16 stage, and you can get involved by backing the 9/2 increased treble on home wins for Tottenham against Benfica, Juventus over Fiorentina and Sevilla to beat city rivals Real Betis.

Tottenham v Benfica
After a superb second-half comeback in the last round against Dnipro, Spurs now find themselves facing Portuguese side Benfica with manager Tim Sherwood looking for a response from his players following the weekend defeat to Chelsea.

A 4-0 scoreline was harsh on Tottenham with individual errors leading to all four of the goals, but Sherwood has questioned the character of some of his players, and they are 7/5 to bounce back and beat their opponents here.

Tottenham’s task of beating Benfica, who are 2/1 to win, may look daunting if you look at the away side’s recent form of 21 victories from 23 games. However, the Lilywhites possess a 100 per cent home record in the competition this season and the Portuguese side look vulnerable on their travels.

During the Champions League, Benfica managed just one victory against bottom side Anderlecht, with a last minute winner from Rodrigo, and lost their other two.

Spurs know they must take a lead back to the Estadio da Luz so may go all out to beat them here. Leading scorer Emmanuel Adebayor is 9/2 favourite to net first, whilst the returning Christian Eriksen is 2/1 to get a goal anytime.

Juventus v Fiorentina
These two sides meet each other for the second time in less than a week, following Juventus’ 1-0 home league win thanks to Kwadwo Asamoah’s first-half wonder strike.

Some may question Juventus’ desire in this competition, after being knocked out in the closing stages of the Champions League group phase, but this year’s final is being held at their very own stadium.

They could also complete a double as they sit 14 points clear in Serie A, having won all 14 home games and just one loss, which was in fact to the Florence club.

The Old Lady are 4/11 to claim their seventh successive victory in all competitions, as well as their 13th home success in a row.

Following their recent defeat, Fiorentina now have just one win in their last six matches, which came at Esbjerg in the previous round. They are 17/2 to claim an unlikely victory here, with a draw at 4/1.

Carlos Tevez is Juventus’ top scorer this campaign with 15, but the Argentine is yet to net in Europe. He is evens to break his duck and 4/1 to get the first goal of the match.

Sevilla v Real Betis
The Europa League last 16 draw has thrown up a spicy encounter as Sevilla and Real Betis meet in the Seville derby at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan ground.

The home side have enjoyed thumping home successes over their rivals in recent meetings (4-0 and 5-1). They are 4/7 to beat them again here.

The Red and Whites also come into this meeting in great form having won their last four matches and are unbeaten in their six Europa League home games so far this season.

Betis have certainly enjoyed better fortunes in Europe than the league as they sit bottom in La Liga.

They managed a 2-0 victory at Rubin Kazan in the last round, but had lost their previous four on their travels and have just three points from their 13 away league matches this season. Back them at 5/1 to beat their neighbours or 3/1 to claim a draw.
