Back Man United, Arsenal and Barcelona for enhanced treble

| 16.03.2014

Coral offer an enhanced 6/1 on a treble of wins for Manchester United against rivals Liverpool, Arsenal in the North London derby against Tottenham and Barcelona over Osasuna.

Manchester United v Liverpool
The two heavyweights of English football clash at Old Trafford, with the home side knowing they must win to have any chance of reaching a top four place.

Manchester United currently sit 11 points behind their North West rivals and at 6/4 will be hoping to put a dent in Liverpool’s own title ambitions.

Life under David Moyes hasn’t been easy for the reds having already lost four home games so far and a fifth here would certainly mount some more pressure on the Scot.

United have enjoyed welcoming their neighbours in recent times though having won ten of the last eleven meetings in all competitions with their last loss coming back in 2009.

Back then the Merseysiders completed a league double over their adversaries and are 19/10 to repeat the feat.

With Wayne Rooney having signed a new contract recently there is now talk of Robin van Persie also committing his future. They are 6/1 and 11/2 respectively to score the first goal of the game.

Tottenham v Arsenal
The rivalry doesn’t end there in the Premier League as Tottenham take on arch enemies Arsenal at White Hart Lane.

Both sides suffered defeats in Europe in midweek with Arsenal crashing out of the Champions League and Tottenham also looking to heading for the exit door of the Europa League.

Arsene Wenger’s side are 11/8 to claim their fifth victory in six matches against Spurs, although they haven’t won at White Hart Line since 2007 in the league. Back them to buck the trend here though.

Tim Sherwood called for his players to show character against Benfica following their 4-0 defeat to Chelsea last weekend but another poor showing resulted in a further 3-1 loss.

They have lost four of their last six games and their hopes of a top four finish are quickly diminishing, although they are 11/5 to get back to winnings ways here.

Olivier Giroud hit the headlines this weekend following a secret meeting with top agent Muzzi Ozcan. The striker is 11/2 to make his mark on the pitch with the first goal.

Barcelona v Osasuna
Barcelona managed to secure a safe progression in the Champions League with a 2-1 second leg win over Manchester City but their league form has hit a blip in recent weeks.

A surprise 1-0 loss last time out to Valladolid made it two defeats in three for Barca after also going down at Real Sociedad.

The two results now leave Gerardo Martino’s side in an unusual third position in La Liga trailing both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

They have more often than not been their normal ruthless selves at the Nou Camp having won 12 of their 13 games and are as short as 1/20 to add another three points to their total.

The visitors are a massive 40/1 to cause further problems for Barca but it is hard to see them causing any problems here. Back the Catalan giants to revert to type tonight and complete this great priced treble.

Lionel Messi has nine goals from his last eight appearances only failing to score in last weekend’ setback. The Argentine is 6/4 to score first.
