With both Liverpool and Everton battling for honours at the top of the table, they will be looking to their top strikers to try and fire them to success.

Liverpool still have their sights set on the title and their hopes have certainly been helped by their SAS strike force of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.

Suarez is on course to break the record of most goals in a Premier League season having scored 28 league goals so far.

The Uruguyan is just six behind the record of 34 from Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole, although they both came when the league had 42 games, with the 38 game record at 31, which is held by Shearer again, tied with Cristiano Ronaldo.

What is more impressive is the fact that Suarez missed the first five games of the season due to his suspension for biting Branislav Ivanovic, meaning his tally could have been so much more.

The 27-year-old had been on a bit of drought for his standards after scoring just once in eight games, although he has found his form again during March with five goals in four games, including a hat-trick in the 6-3 win at Cardiff.

Liverpool’s opponents Tottenham have shipped a large amount of goals when facing teams chasing the title so far this season.

In two games against Chelsea they conceded five, with eleven to Man City whilst they also lost the reverse fixture 5-0, with Suarez getting two and there is every chance of him getting on the scoresheet again here.

Everton still have hopes of a top four finish having won their last four league matches which has coincided with the return of Romelu Lukaku.

The on-loan Chelsea striker missed all of February but since returning to the side the Belgian has scored four goals in five games.

His first goal in that run was the crucial winner against West Ham and from the 13 goals he has scored for the Toffees, only two have come in games in which the Blues have ended up losing.

Roberto Martinez’s signing of Lukaku has been crucial to Everton fortunes this season, because if you look at their next highest league scorers you find right-back Seamus Coleman with six their only other player with more than five.

Belgian international Lukaku will be certainly hope to continue his run of scoring as he comes up against the the worst Premier League defence.

Bottom of the table Fulham have conceded a total of 70 goals so far, including 11 in their last four games.
