Burnley, QPR, Reading are fantastic value in 5/1 Championship treble

| 25.03.2014

Punters that fancy wins for Championship promotion hopefuls Burnley, QPR and Reading can back all three with Coral and be rewarded with an enhanced 5/1 price.

Sean Dyche’s Clarets host lowly Doncaster Rovers, the Hoops welcome Wigan Athletic and the Royals are at home to basement club Barnsley.

Burnley v Doncaster Rovers
The Clarets have won each of their last three meetings with Rovers. Dyche’s side start as odds-on 1/2 favourites for another three points, which will see them close in on automatic promotion. Odds of 27/20 on Burnley winning to nil against a team in the bottom-six are also attractive.

Sam Vokes, from the penalty spot, and highly-rated right back Kieran Trippier were both on target in the reverse fixture. Back the former at 4/1 to score first again here.

Chris Baird, who recently signed for the Turf Moor outfit, is likely to deputise for the latter, so place faith in his experience and take even-money on a clean sheet for the hosts.

QPR v Wigan Athletic
Harry Redknapp’s Hoops are unbeaten at home against the FA Cup holders for 11 years. QPR start 7/5 favourites to win this fixture, which was held in the Premier League last season.

Former England striker Bobby Zamora scored on his only previous Championship outing – in West Ham colours – against Wigan. Back him at 6/4 to net anytime here.

Richard Dunne returns from suspension for the hosting Hoops, so that will strengthen their backline. Take odds of 17/10 on QPR shutting Uwe Rosler’s Latics out, which they managed to do in the reverse fixture.

Reading v Barnsley
The Tykes have won one match away all season and Nigel Adkins’ Royals have only lost four times on their own turf this term. Reading start as odds-on favourites for victory at 8/15.

Wingers invariably tend to score for the Berkshire outfit when they battle Barnsley, so look to the likes of Nick Blackman (6/4), Garath McCleary (10/3), Royston Drenthe (7/2) and Jobi McAnuff (5/1) to be on target.

As this pits the team with the worst goal difference in the Championship against a side that has netted 31 times in the at home, expect the Royals to fill their boots. Odds of them getting over 2.5 goals in this match are 7/4.
